Reception and Shop Hours

7am – 7pm in summer  /  8am – 6pm in winter.

Payment Policy

We have facilities to receive payment via Eftpos, Visa, MasterCard, direct debit or cash. A 2.5% surcharge will apply to all credit card transactions.

The name Papa Aroha Holiday Park will appear on your bank statement.

Permission to draw on your card is given with confirmation of your booking.

In order to secure a booking, a 50% deposit is required. Total payment for your stay is required on arrival. No reduction for early departure or late arrival. For long weekends and the Christmas and New Year Period, a minimum stay is required. Management retains the right to alter cabin or site arrangement if required.

Management reserves the right to alter tariff without notice.

Cancellations

A cancellation fee of $25.00 applies per unit/site cancelled to all cancelled bookings.
Refund of deposit will be made up to 14 days prior to the arrival date in the Low/ Mid Season. If less than 14 days prior to arrival, deposits will not be refunded unless the units/sites you have booked can be refilled for the full time of booking less a $25 cancellation fee.
Deposits and payments are fully refundable 30 days prior to guest’s arrival date in the High/Peak Season. If less than 30 days prior to arrival, deposits will not be refunded unless the units/sites you have booked can be refilled for the full time of booking less a $25 cancellation fee.
Bookings are non-transferable and there are no refunds for inclement weather.

High/ Peak Season
From 20th December to the end of February & Long Weekends (Easter, Labour,
Queen’s Birthday, Anzac Day)

Low / Mid Season
From 1st March to 19th December (except the Long weekends)

Conduct and Noise

We expect common sense and consideration to be shown at all times, to all guests. No noise before 7am or after 10pm (except New Years Eve which is 1am).

Alcohol is only to be consumed on your site or in your unit. Excessive drinking parties are forbidden.

The management reserves the right to refuse admission to any person and to remove from the park any person who in their opinion does not conduct themselves in a decent and reasonable manner. No refund will be made in such circumstances.

If you are experiencing a problem, please advise management immediately. Tomorrow is too late. The after hours phone is situated to the right side of the shop door.

Vehicle Speed 5km per hour

No excuses. Speeding or dangerous driving could lead to you and your vehicle being denied entry. Watch out for children.

Children

Adults please supervise and control your children. You are responsible for your child’s behaviour and safety at all times.

Visitors

Visitors are welcome and must check in at the office. Visitors are at the discretion of the management at all times but you are responsible for them and they must depart by 10pm. During long weekends and Christmas and New Year periods, visitors may be limited. Please check with office staff before inviting visitors. Visitors are not permitted to arrive after 9pm.
